THE CHILD CARE ACTION TRUST is a national registered charity that helps 'individual' disabled children living in the United Kingdom by providing equipment and facilities that are not freely available from the health or social services and that are not affordable by the parents.
In November 2005 the recently formed "STEP TOGETHER" centre for CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION located in County Durham became a part of THE CHILD CARE ACTION TRUST.
STEP TOGETHER provides CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION for disabled children living in the County Durham, Cleveland and Tyne & Wear districts.
The Child Care Action Trust STEP TOGETHER Centre is now ,located at Newton Aycliffe, County Durham with satelite Centres at The Bamburgh School, South Shields, Tyne & Wear and at Marton, Middlesborough for the children living in Middlesborough, Redcar Cleveland and North West Yorkshire.
The Child Care Action Trust is a national Charity and it is trustees intention to open new satellite centre in other parts of the United Kingdom, as required.
