JMECA seeks to encourage support through prayer, giving and personal service for the Anglican dioceses of Jerusalem, Iran, Egypt and Cyprus and the Gulf. Gifts by subscription, covenant or legacy resulting from the Association''s appeals are allocated in consultation with the four Dioceses and the central Synod of the Episcopal Church of Jerusalem and the Middle East, and are used to maintain and develop pastoral, medical and educational work in areas where there is great need.
