CrossReach operates the largest voluntary social work programme in the country, seeing its role as leading the development of caring services for those who are most vulnerable in today's society. Care of older people is an important area, including those with senile dementia along with the provision of care and support for people with problems such as learning disabilities and mental illness, alcohol and drug dependency and drug addiction, homelessness, Epilepsy and HIV infection. The church is concerned not just with victims and sufferers, but with providing support for family and friends through its 90 homes and projects.
