The Missions to Seaman, a voluntary Society of the Anglican Church cares for the welfare of Seafarers regardless of nationality or faith in some 300 ports throughout the world. It works through a network of Chaplains and volunteers who visit the Seafarers on their ships to offer a welcome friendship and practical and spiritual support. In 100 major ports, including two in Northern Ireland, the Mission also runs Seafarers Centres.
