The society is the largest voluntary organisation in Scotland promoting the social and spiritual welfare of hearing impaired people. It operates a large residential home where frail elderly deaf and deaf / blind people are cared for - provides an interpreting / communication service, a community service, services specifically geared to young people - and pastoral ministry.
